Congratulations to Kendra Duggleby, 17, of Cleveland, New York, on receiving the Zone 2 Jim Rice Memorial Award, which is given each year to recognize the accomplishments of a Zone 2 member who was selected for the EAP National Training Session.

The Zone 2 Hunter Committee developed the Jim Rice Memorial Award in 2013 to honor Rice, of Huntington, N.Y. Rice was a professional rider, trainer and show manager and coached numerous students to top honors in zone and national equitation finals. His farm also began a therapeutic riding school, the Red Barn Riding Partners program.

"I am blown away and feel so blessed to receive this honor of an award," Duggleby said.

Duggleby, who attended the EAP Regional Training Session at Cazenovia College in New York, will attend the National Training Session Nov. 9-12 at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Click here for more information about the Jim Rice Memorial Award.

Help Us Shape New Horsemanship Clinics
The USHJA is exploring the development of unmounted, educational clinics that focus on horsemanship for members and non-members around the country.

To help us in the development of such clinics, we are asking for your input into the types of topics that should be covered, the best areas of the country in which to host, times of year that are most convenient for members and other aspects.

Take a short survey to help us understand what would be most important to you as we develop unmounted, educational horsemanship clinics. Thank you for your time!
