Come haunt Bucksport this Saturday, October 21, 2017 as we morph into Ghostport again for the ninth spook-tacular year. This Halloween-themed event offers something for all ages, from the Lil' Goblins Parade down Main Street to Jonathan Buck's Race to the Grave. Brunch with the witches, TRUNK OR TREATING, a FREE kid's movie playing at the Alamo, and a CHILI COOK-OFF are all on the schedule again along with spirited vendors along the waterfront for Saturday.

Whether it's the spooky or the sweet that you seek, Ghostport is the place for fall fun. Show off your creative skills in the CARVED PUMPKIN CONTEST or skip the carving altogether and launch your pumpkin into the Penobscot River using our trebuchet. This year Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center and Hairbenders Salon in Ellsworth will bring the grand finale of their "Smashing Cancer - One Pumpkin at a Time" event to the trebuchet. You can be a part of their dedication sessions at 11:30AM or 2:30PM.

Main Street businesses in Buckskport are also getting in the spirit of Ghostport. The Lighthouse Arts Center is planning their opening reception for their "FALLing in Love with Bucksport" Exhibition from 4pm to 6pm along with pumpkin painting and a selfie station. Verona Wine & Design is offering games, and treats for kids in addition to their regular menu. Wahl's Dairy Port is back open for business for just one day, from 10am to 4pm is your last chance to grab a specialty treat until next spring when they open again for the season. BookStacks will have a spooky story half hour for kids from 1pm to 1:30pm. Costumes are welcome and anticipated!

After the sun sets, enjoy some music at our "bump in the night" outdoor dance or scare yourself silly at our special late-night horror film on the big screen at the Alamo Theatre, this year Ghostport brings "It" (2017) to our local theatre.

A Wickedly Fun Filled day!

  Peace Fellow Mammals
Local animal communicator, Naomi Graychase, was always "sensitive." And she loved animals, but it wasn't until a series of heart-breaking events occurred, that she discovered she had the ability to open her heart into the practice of animal communication.

She was trained by an expert animal communicator in Massachusetts, and for the last five years has been working professionally as a telepathic animal communicator based in Bucksport.

She works over the phone, so distance is no object. And she can even talk with animals who are no longer in their bodies. And while her business is called, "Peace, fellow mammals," she can talk to any beings, living or passed away, not just mammals!

Learn more or book an appointment at her website,  Peace, Fellow Mammals , or find her on  Facebook .
