recurring donations
Gifts of appreciated stock = win-win!

If you have shares of stock that have appreciated in value, and you've owned the shares more than a year, you might consider donating them directly to MCHS. It's a win-win proposition: You winy
by avoiding capital gains when you deduct the full fair market value of the shares you've donated. Our animals win because your gift will help provide them with the care and new homes they need.

If you'd like to make a gift of appreciated stock or other securities, please first contact MCHS Director of Development, James Nolan at 240-616-1973 or [email protected], before you make your gift, so we can properly acknowledge its receipt and credit you. As always, talk to your financial advisor to see if this type of gift makes sense for you.
