CUSTOMER SERVICE

A look at our  submission history shows us that our return from the Thanksgiving Holiday break is met with a wealth of new submissions!

Customer Service Resources are available in the Affiliate Resource Site and include sample FAQ responses and how-to guides for educators and students.

If you are receiving recurring questions, please let me know. We are working to provide the most accurate information for students and educators to prevent a high customer service workload.

If you receive questions from students or educators that you are unable to answer, you can reach out to me directly and I will provide you with a response for the student/educator. Please do not forward student/educator calls or emails to me directly.

You can also refer students or educators to email info@artandwriting.org or call 212-343-7700 during National Office business hours (M-F, 9:30-5:30 EDT). This can be especially helpful for students submitting to Region-at-Large.

EDUCATOR SUPPORT
Below are tips and links to how-to documents, including screen shots, for two commonly asked educator questions:
How do I gain access to a student account?
How do I administer accounts for students who are at a different day school?

  • Log in and go to the "Students" section of your account.
  • Select "Add Students" from the tabs at the top of this page.
  • The first option is to view a list of students who have already activated accounts at your school. To access their account, you will select "Request Admin Rights" and will need to provide their email address.
  • If you do not see your student listed above, you can search for your student's inactive account (meaning they participated in the Awards in past years, but have not logged in to reactivate their account) by entering their email. You can then "Request Admin Rights."
  • Now that you have requested admin rights, the student will need to log in and approve your access. Upon login, the requested student will see the option to approve or deny access.
  • Once the student approves rights, the educator will now see students at each school.
  • If you do not find your student using the steps above, you will need to create a new student account and will need their email, grade, and school information to begin.
  • Log in and go to the "students" section of your account.
  • Select "Add Students" - you will see list of students who have already activated accounts at your school.
  • To add a student from a different day school, provide the student email address linked to the account you would like to administer in the "Search for Your Student" section, then click "Find Students".
  • You can then "Request Admin Rights" to administer the student profile.
  • Now that you have requested admin rights, the student will need to log in and approve your access. Upon login, the requested student will see the option to approve or deny access.
  • Once the student approves rights, the educator will now see students at each school.
NOTE: the above also works when administering student accounts who are registered with different Other Educational Programs as well.
