These Attendees Found Their Treasure at the Catholic Cemeteries Conference

To help promote attendance at IMSA member booths, IMSA partnered with the Catholic Cemeteries Conference staff to develop a scavenger hunt-type passport.  These lucky attendees, with NFDA Board Member Kathleen Berry, had each won a $50 gift card.

Congratulations winners!

SUPPLIER HIGHLIGHT
by L inda Darby

I have been in the death care profession since graduating from Illinois State University am the co-owner of my family's business, including Trigard burial and cremation vaults, Trigard Memorials, seven funeral homes and a memorial park.

I lead the Trigard team in believing in the best. Remembering the best. Celebrating the best. And most of all, in the healing that comes from doing our best. I really believe this shines through in Trigard's products, people and service.

Like many of my peers, besides being involved in numerous community organizations, such as the Women's Care Clinic, I have served on various associations boards, including IMSA and the National Concrete Burial Vault Association, Funeral and Memorialization Information Council (FAMIC), Funeral Service Foundation, Board of the Illinois Cemetery Association, Board of the Arizona Funeral Directors Association and Illinois State's Comptroller's Cemetery Advisory Board.

There is much more to me than my dedication to our industry. I love  JIF peanut butter; crunchy is a must. I also love grape gumballs and popcorn, but not simultaneously! The most embarrassing thing on my iTunes is "Rock n Roll All Night" by Kiss.

While I still enjoy horseback riding, I replaced my horse with a garden hoe an d spend time making things grow. But, my favorite activity is spending time with the people I love.
