Fifty of Louisville's leading physicians and community leaders sat down for a heartwarming Wear the White Coat (WWC) Post-Op Dinner at the Old Medical School Building on Wednesday, October 9. The versatile group came together to celebrate one-of-a-kind memories and friendships formed by the WWC experience, created by GLMS and powered by a grant from the GLMS Foundation.

Physicians and office managers attended the 2016 GLMS Leadership Workshop on the morning of Saturday, November 19. This year's theme was "Cure for the Common Leader: What Physicians & Managers Must Do to Engage & Inspire Healthcare Teams" and it was hosted by Joe Mull, professional speaker and author of the book of the same name.

Sarah Moyer, MD, medical director of the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health & Wellness, visited the EMS/Diversion Council in late October to give an update on Louisville's Needle Exchange Program which has now been in effect for 14 months. Members of the Louisville Police, Fire and EMS departments as well as local hospitals were on hand to ask hear the update and ask questions.
