A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten, with the Christ Church Choir and Chamber Orchestra.
10:00 PM Choral Eucharist is the
Midnight Mass for Christmas
, with the Christ Church Choir offering carols and the choral mass setting by Marc-Antoine Charpentier, and leading the congregation in song; Rector Ruth Beresford preaching and Associate Stephen Setzer presiding in worship.
In the Chapel
4:00 PM Candlelight, Carols, and Communion is a service of Holy Eucharist suitable for all ages, with the Christ Church Choir Schola offering carols and leading the congregation in song, accompanied by a string quartet; Associate Stephen Setzer preaching and presiding in worship.
When you come for worship, remember
Child care is provided for infants and toddlers at 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00 PM in the Parish House, Room 104.
Doors open 30 minutes before each service and at 9:00 PM for seating before the Prelude of the 10:00 PM Mass. Expect standing room only at 4:00 and 10:00 PM as we hear the Good News of our Redeemer's birth, receive the Sacrament of his Body, and share in the songs that resound with joyful praise.
As is our custom, the entire Christmas Offering is given away, pledged to support the work of Friendship House, St. Michael's School & Nursery, and our Global Missions program in the Dominican Republic. Please give generously, that we may be a blessing to our neighbors in need.
