Jeep Cherokee is a mid-size crossover SUV, with available four-wheel drive and superior off-road capability. Cherokee is larger than the Compass, which is larger than the Renegade.
The 2018 Cherokee comes in five models: Latitude, Latitude Plus, Limited, Overland, and the off-road oriented Trailhawk. The previous base model - the Sport - has been discontinued. Front-wheel drive is standard, but Cherokee makes much more sense with the available all-wheel drive.
Latitude brings more standard equipment to the entry level, including a rearview camera, high-intensity HID headlamps, roofrails, foglamps, aluminum wheels, and body-colored mirrors and door handles. Latitude Plus is a new model intended to offer more features for the dollar. Limited and Trailhawk models likewise offer more standard equipment for 2018 than previously.

Road Salt Means Safe Roads
|
|
Winter is coming and it's bringing ice, snow, and salty roads. State and municipal departments of transportation are gearing up their winter maintenance plans.
Every year these agencies stockpile sufficient salt to last the winter season and store it in strategically placed barns. Then before the snow and ice descends, "snowfighters" will be out in force in salt trucks, laying it all out on the road.

As the 2016 model year began, Mercedes-Benz took its M-Class family SUV, modified the body and interior, and changed its model designation to GLE. Not only the name, but the new front end, brought this luxury utility vehicle in accord with the rest of the lineup.
For 2017, the turbodiesel variant was dropped, but a plug-in hybrid remains, along with a quartet of gasoline engines. The off-road option package also faded away. A rearview camera is newly standard, as is 4G LTE wi-fi. There are new gray and blue body colors.
Five distinct versions are available: GLE350, plug-in GLE550e, and three Mercedes-AMG variants: GLE43, GLE63, and GLE63 S. Each blends a handsome body with a quiet ride.
