End of Year Gifts
It's a season that is full of wonder and often reflection.  It is a time that you may be grateful for the blessings that God has given you.  This gratitude may lead you to make a year-end gift to the ministry operating budget of Oxford Presbyterian Church over and above your pledge.  Gifts received in the office or postmarked by Saturday, December 31 will be receipted for 2016 giving.  Gifts of stock, securities, and required minimum distributions (RMD) from IRA's are also most welcome.
Celebrations during this Sacred Season
Join your church family for these worship opportunities
during this sacred season:
Candlelight Christmas Eve Service, December 24 - 7:00 p.m.
Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25 - 10:00 a.m.
New Year's Day, Sunday, January 1 - 10:00 a.m.

Let's feed the Holy Family!  Please bring a non-perishable food item to any and all of our worship celebrations this season.  Items may be left in the box located in the narthex and the food will be taken to replenish the Oxford Choice Pantry.
What can I give Him, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb.
If I were a health nut, I would bring some bran
Yet, what I have, I give him, give a CAN!!!!

Christmas Joy Offering
Each year during the Advent and Christmas season, we turn our eyes to Bethlehem and celebrate the wondrous gift of Jesus Christ, our Savior.  By giving to the Christmas Joy Offering, you honor this gift by providing assistance to current and retired church workers in their time of need and developing our future leaders at Presbyterian-related racial ethnic schools and colleges.  Our Christmas Joy Offering will be received on Christmas Eve, December 24.  Each gift has the power to change lives.
On December 30th, there will be a Lock-In at The Seminary Church starting at 8:00pm and ending at 9:00am on the following morning. The OPC Youth Ministry is excited to be partnering up with the Youth Ministry at Oxford United Methodist Church for this event, where we will be having a fun-filled evening full of games and activities, movies, and a midnight candle-light service! Questions? Contact Mitch Hardy at (513) 907-5641 or [email protected]
PRAYER SHAWL Makers (Knit or crochet or......) we need you!  Our supply of Prayer Shawls is down and together we can provide love and care for our friends.

Shawls are given for comfort in times of illness or grief, as well as for celebration in times of joy. Please call Cornelia Browne if you have questions.
December 20th is the deadline for January newsletter submissions.
Email your write-up to Nancy at [email protected].
Stewardship Update
We have received $311,832 in 121 pledges so far for the 2017 Stewardship Campaign.  Thank you!

If you have not yet made your pledge for the upcoming year, please do - either by filling out a pledge card or emailing  [email protected]  so that we can build the 2017 budget based on an accurate estimate of contributions.
