Completing an Annual Performance Report (APR) as required by the Office of Native American Programs (ONAP) and Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act (NAHASDA) can be overwhelming. This webinar will simplify the process by presenting a straightforward strategy to develop an effective and basic system to collect the information necessary to complete an APR. The APR review process is a part of HUD’s oversight responsibility, as outlined in the NAHASDA regulations at 24 CFR § 1000.520. At least annually, HUD will review each recipient’s performance to determine whether the recipient:
- Has carried out its eligible activities in a timely manner, has carried out its eligible activities and certifications in accordance with the requirements and the primary objective of NAHASDA and with other applicable laws and has a continuing capacity to carry out those activities in a timely manner;
- Has complied with the IHP of the grant beneficiary; and
- Whether the performance reports of the recipient are accurate.” Participants will learn about relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and other useful resources.
