Serving on a Nonprofit Board: A Primer
On October 23rd, we hosted the third session of our free training for prospective board members titled Serving on a Nonprofit Board: A Primer. Our audience for these trainings are NYC area individuals who have registered on our free nonprofit board matching website, BoardnetUSA. Our Program Director, Barbara Paxton, walks our guests through the steps of what it means to serve on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization and answers questions. The October session was a success and we already have some sign ups for the November session. Please send an email to cgibson@governancemattersusa.org if you'd like to attend one of these trainings!
