Traffic safety
TripCheck Drive safely this holiday weekend
This Thanksgiving weekend will see one of the highest volumes of traffic in over a decade, according to AAA Oregon/Idaho. As with other holiday weekends, state and local police are urging motorists to plan ahead and expect both heavy traffic and possibly poor driving conditions. The forecast includes rain at lower elevations and snow in the mountain passes. While driving in rain, remember to increase your following distances due to decreased traction. Take your time driving. Know the road conditions before traveling.
