Christmas Day Dinner Volunteers Needed

Do you want to make a difference this Christmas?

Are you looking for a way to serve God and be a part of something so much bigger than tinsel and lights?

Be a part of the Annual Christmas Day Dinner and Gathering of Community on December 25th. Belin Memorial will serve several thousand meals on Christmas Day to people in our community, free for everyone. We are one of four locations to participate in this community tradition.

We are currently seeking one volunteer to lead the Christmas Day Dinner at Belin Memorial as well as a team of support volunteers to assist. The food is prepared at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church in Myrtle Beach.

The lead person will orchestrate food pick up in Myrtle Beach on December 24 and then food warming, food service, meal deliveries, cleanup, etc. on Christmas Day, usually beginning around 6 AM. Belin serves about a thousand meals from 12 noon to 3 PM at the church and delivers about a thousand meals in and around the community. It is a full day of preparation and service. The rewards are God-given!

If you are interested or for more information, contact Robin Boyer ( [email protected] or 843.651.7168).

Grateful for Your Generosity
Many of you made generous gift card donations after hearing of the Murrells Inlet family that lost everything in a fire several weeks ago. The Conteras family stopped by the church office recently asking to let everyone know how very grateful and touched they are by the generous outpouring of help they have received from our congregation.

You have been a blessing to a family in crisis. Thank you all for what you do for those in need.
