Fall Back with Daylight Savings on November 5th!

We hope you were able to see The Rhode Show segment last week as we created awareness of the Aging in Place movement and the availability of the means for seniors to remain in their homes for as long as they would like.  In light of the National Aging in Place Week, we felt it was appropriate to highlight some easy solutions that you may not be aware of.  If you were not able to see this show, we have provided a link below.  Check it out sometime and see what can be done to your home to make it safe!

November 5th is when Daylight Savings ends and we 'fall back.'  It will be lighter in the morning but darker in the afternoons.  Remember to put your outside lights on for a safe entrance into the home.   Use the occasion of setting your clocks back as a cue to change your batteries on your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms as well seeing if your fire extinguisher batteries need replacing.

Let us help you  with your situation!

Why we do what we do...

"I met the folks from Home Healthsmith while searching for someone to help me figure out the best way to modify our new house so that my paraplegic mom can get in the door. They helped us the whole way through, recommending the best options for us, letting me test the equipment in advance and installing and tweaking the lift to make sure it worked perfectly. They're great to work with and we are super happy with our vertical platform lift! And so is my mom!"
