Meet the Jung Society of Utah Members
Lanette "Rose" Best, Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), specializes in treating trauma, complex trauma, dissociation and Dissociative Identity Disorder. She also works with high functioning autism, OCD, Borderline Personality Disorder and eating disorders. Modalities used are EMDR, Ego State Therapy, DBT, CBT, Dreams, Clinical Hypnosis and MFSR. She is a contracted therapist with Highland Springs Specialty Clinic, and they take many insurances including private pay.

She has followed the Jung Society of Utah for many years and is proud to say for most of those years have been a member. She became interested in Jung's work as an undergraduate at the University of Utah; and attended as many upper level classes that she could that focused on dreams, transpersonal psychology, art, and spiritual practice.

She has always been in search of "the heart of the mystic" and has studied many religions, philosophies and cultures. She is a Usui and Karuna Reiki master. She spent several years creating soul drawings for people and would give a reading as she would draw the picture. One of her biggest loves is dance and she studied many forms of dance including: Belly Dance, Flamenco, African, and other ethnic dancing. She has taught Belly Dance, Goddess Dance and is a certified instructor for Dancing Mindfulness.

The past few years, her interest in other healing art forms has increased and she has been making Transformational Art Dolls. This is a very powerful tool for her and she began offer to create art dolls for others as part of their healing process. They are very archetypal and the ones included in the picture are: Talisman, dream weaver, energetic ally and loving kindness.

She has recently been trained as a gong therapist and is offering Gong Therapy to her clients as a part of relaxation beginning and ending sessions.  She is also offering gong therapy as a separate treatment. The energy of it is very powerful and enhances deep relaxation.

As she continues to follow the "mystic heart", she will soon be setting up a separate practice for Dancing Mindfulness and Gong Therapy. This should be occurring at the beginning of 2018. She is offering 20% off a healing doll or gong therapy session for those who mention the Jung Society of Utah. Mention the Jung Society for Dancing Mindfulness and get your first class for free.
