The Oklahoma Municipal League is fortunate to have had Deputy Director of External Operations and Government Relations Missy Dean for over sixteen years. Prior to coming to OML, she worked for Governor Frank Keating in the legal department as a paralegal and the state's Extradition Coordinator. Missy's dad was in the oil and gas industry, which is what brought their family to Oklahoma when she was just 10 years old. Missy's main responsibility is to advocate for cities and towns at the capitol which is her true passion. Missy has also served as the Membership Services Director, overseeing the annual conference, workshops, and publications. Missy loves baseball! She has a bucket list to attend all the major league baseball parks. As of today, she has seen the Red Sox at Fenway twice, Rockies, Royals, Rangers, Padres, Tigers twice, Phillies, and Diamondbacks. She is also a die-hard Oklahoma State University Cowboy fan.  Her greatest accomplishment in life is being a mother to her three amazing children  Brock, Makenzie, and Garett.
