OET News
November 2017

November OET News is full of great information that will help you live, play, and be pain free. Don't miss this month's E-cise of the Month, OET Recommends, Key to Health, and new research about back health.

November is when many of us think about what we are thankful for and who we are grateful to. When you think about these things, don't forget to be thankful for your amazing body and it's ability to heal itself.

E-cise of the Month: Downward Dog
The Downward Dog is one of the oldest, most known, and most practiced yoga poses and for good reason. The Downward Dog when done correctly has many positive affects on posture and function. The Downward Dog can help correct two of the most common postural imbalances: a hip disparity and sitting induced chronic flexion. Learn more.
OET Recommends: Prana E.C.O Yoga Mat
The Prada E.C.O. yoga mat is my favorite yoga mat to use in my clinic. This yoga mat is just the right thickness (not too thin, not too thick) and just sticky enough to be perfect for using when doing you OET menu. I recommend using it for e-cises where you need grip like Downward Dog, Roller Coasters, and Static Extension Position on Elbows. It works great for padding your knee or elbow when doing Cats & Dogs, Wall Quad Stretch, Core Abdominals, or Kneeling Wall Clock. It also makes Static Back and the Tower more comfortable.  You can  purchase the  Prada  E.C.O. yoga mat  here .
