From the Program Director

Sarah Chandonnet

At the end of the year, as the light fades from the days and the temperature falls, we often feel our energy, our resilience, fading. We will dig deep together to find the strength and create the hope to get us through these dark times.

This Sunday, join Greg Epstein, Humanist Chaplain at Harvard and the Hub's Executive Director for his monthly talk at the Hub. After the program, at 3pm, Greg and his wife Jackie will hold a brief humanist welcoming ceremony for their new baby, Axel Bertrand, followed by a reception with lots of snacks and cake. During the 1:30 program, on this month's theme of Leadership in Dark Times, Greg will also welcome 2 ve ry special guests:

Gurwin Singh Ahuja currently works in the Executive Office of the President of the United States and is the founder of Know Your Neighbor, a bipartisan coalition comprised of leading civil rights and faith-based organizations focused on fostering a nationwide dialogue on the country's religious diversity and developing a general awareness of major faith traditions (including atheism/humanism).

Dietrich Strause's songs are a mix of timeless melody, literate lyricism, and a "virtuosic command of imagery." His last release Little Stones to Break the Giant's Heart was featured in No Depression, The Bluegrass Situation, CMT's The Edge, and on Starbucks' world wide playlist. Read more about these guests, and the event, here. (
