CONGRATULATIONS
RYAN KENNEY
2018
Ryan Kenney of Hingham and the Landmark School has officially committed to Lynchburg College in Virginia today. For the last three and half years at BlackHawks, Ryan has committed himself to his academics, fitness level, and the game of lacrosse. Above everything, Ryan is an incredible, hard working, and humble young man and is truly one of the most coachable young men that I have had the pleasure to work with.
Ryan will be playing under Coach Steve Koudelka who led the Lynchburg Hornets to the NCAA Finals in 2015 and runs one of the most well respected Division 3 Programs in the Country.
We are so proud of you and all your hard work in accomplishing this phase of your dream.
We will be highlighting the accomplishments of our young men in these newsletters. Please feel free to share with me at kevin@hawkslacrosse.net.

10:00 am-1st and 2nd Grade
11:00 am- 3rd and 4th Grade
Team Training at Norwell HIgh Oct 29-
5:00 -6:30 pm - Teams: 2023 and 2022 
6:20 - 7:50 pm - Teams: 2025 and 2024 
7:30-9:00 pm - Teams: 2021, 2020, 2019,2018

2-Deadline for ordering Atlantic Sportswear - 10/23/2017-

3-Deadline for Pre-ordering Helmets and custom lacrosse Shafts - 10/23/2017

TOURNAMENTS
Tournament Updates:

  • Please make sure you have completed the Attendance Sheet using the Google form that was emailed to you on October 18 or the appropriate one below.
  • Please pay attention in the week or two leading up to the tournament for the waivers. Schedules are usually posted the week of the tournament.

  • SKILLS AT THE ACADEMY BEGIN THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 7TH
  • PLEASE CHECK THE HAWKS CALENDAR FOR YOUR SKILLS
  • PLEASE CHECK YOUR TOURNAMENT DATES AND YOUR ATTENDANCE
  • ROSTERS (PRELIMINARY AND TEMPORARY) WILL BE OUT THE FIRST WEEK IN NOVEMBER. ROSTERS ARE ALWAYS IN FLUX RELATIVE TO PERFORMANCE
  • ADDED GOALIE CLINIC ON TUESDAYS- WE WILL BE WORKING WITH YOUTH AND MIDDLE SCHOOL GOALIES ON TUESDAY NIGHTS AT 5PM /HIGH SCHOOL ON THURSDAYS- 5PM- THERE IS FLEXIBILITY FOR THE GOALIES IN THE NIGHTS BUT NEED TO BE FIGURED OUT BEFOREHAND

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE WINTER,SPRING, AND SUMMER
-WE WILL BE USING THIS SECTION TO GIVE YOU LOOKS AT WHAT IS COMING AHEAD WITHIN HAWKS AS WELL AS BLACKHAWKS. WINTER PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE JUNIOR BLACKHAWKS PROGRAM FOR GRADES K-4 (TBA NEXT WEEK) , CAGE GLADIATOR (SATURDAY 4 V 4 LEAGUE) , STRENGTH AND SPEED PROGRAMS , AND WINTER SKILLS CLINICS.

-WE WILL ALSO USE THIS SECTION TO GIVE YOU THE FIRST LOOK INTO THE SPRING AND THE POTENTIAL SUMMER TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE THAT WE ARE WORKING ON.

Coach of the Week

Coach Ben Louchheim

Ben has been with Hawks since we started and is an integral part of our program. Ben graduated from Dickinson College where he was a four year defenseman. He now teaches at Hingham High School where he also coaches the JV Lacrosse team.
Ben runs our 9th grade program for the third year both on and off the field. As one of the Heads of our College Planning Program, he works with our young men on choosing the right academic regiment as well as perfecting interview skills.
Ben and his wife, Dianna, became the proud parents of their first child, the beautiful baby girl Margaret in the spring. Ben will be reaching out to High School Players shortly to set up meetings with everyone.
