Firms included in the 2017 "Best Law Firms" list are recognized for professional excellence, which is determined after receiving reviews from clients and peers.
The 2017 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and highest number of client ballots on record. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top 4 percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S..

According to the Best Law Firms press release, receiving a tier designation reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients in the same communities and the same practice areas for its abilities, its professionalism and its integrity.

's Wheeling office, joining the firm in 2016.
His practice focuses on general property & casualty, professional liability, product liability, dram shop, brain injury, and mining (water loss / subsidence) claims. He has litigated cases throughout Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia with exposures up to several million dollars.
Paul has given numerous presentations to lawyers, claim representatives and brokers including: Tort Reform, Risk Management Considerations, How Juries Make Decisions, Issues in Risk Transfer, and Pennsylvania Legislative Updates. In 2014, he received an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale Hubble.
He attended The Pennsylvania State University and The University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and now resides in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife and five children.
