Cardio and Weight Training:
This class is for students with beginning to intermediate fitness levels. Students participate in weight training and cardiovascular activities to improve strength and cardiovascular endurance.
Barre:
This fitness based class uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet as well as other disciplines such as Yoga and Pilates. Students use the barre as a prop to assist with balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high repetitions of small range of motion movements. The use of light weights and mat/core work will be incorporated into the course.
ReFit:
ReFit combines several elements of fitness into one power-packed hour. While the focus is structured around cardiodance movements, toning and flexibility, strength training and stretching are also incorporated into the Refit workout.
Spin HIIT:
This course is intermediate Spinning class, also known as Spinning H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training. This class is made up of a short period of high intensity activity bursts followed by a short period of low intensity recovery movement. All done on the Spinning bike with in thirty-five minutes followed by stretching. Spinning is a full-body, low impact, aerobic exercise that can help strengthen the heart, lower blood pressure, boost energy, burn off excess fat, tone legs and stomach, reduce stress and tension, and boost peak performance.

The CSI Stage Door Series will present "Intersections: New Art, New Music" on October 27. The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults or $5 for students and will be available at the CSI Box Office, by calling 732-6288, at the door, or by going online to
http://tickets.csi.edu. Season tickets are also available, which includes admittance to all eight Stage Door productions for $70 adults or $35 for students.
Join the Brava Piano Duo - Sue Miller and Allison Bangerter - in a concert of music written for two pianists by composers who are still living. Upon entering the stage door, audience members will enjoy a display of new art by local artists. While Bach and Beethoven will always have a place in musicians' hearts, this program presents the work of some of the most exciting new and upcoming composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. Highlights include the rhythmically provocative set of latin dances called "Recuerdos" by William Bolcom and Ned Rorem's "Six Variations for Two Pianos" which explores contemplative and rhythmically exciting variations. Commissioned specially for the Brava Piano Duo, this concert includes the world premiere of "Alternance" by composer David Batchelor. Be prepared for an intimate evening of new music and new art.
The CSI Stage Door Series, intimate arts experiences where both performers and audience members are on the stage itself, are designed to be thought-provoking and a little out of the ordinary in different ways - whether it's because of the intimate setting, the material performed, the way they are presented, or the collaborations involved. Follow up productions include Untitled., featuring the work of Mike Youngman, Soiled Doves, Inside Inspirata, TBD: To Be Devised featuring Flying Bobcat Theater, and Sentences.

Do you have someone on your Christmas list who already has everything or someone that prefers to give to charities rather than receive gifts themselves? I have many times purchased small animals as gifts to families in West Africa to raise for profit as a Christmas gift. This month any donation is doubled! You can make a donation in someone else's name and send them the thank you note when it arrives. I promise this is a gift that makes everyone feel good.
Here's how it works...
Send TWICE the heifers, pigs and goats thanks to our special West Africa MATCH! Every dollar you give today will be DOUBLED - sending TWICE the hope, DOUBLE the impact and TWO TIMES the opportunity. Give now>>
Each and every gift given today will have an enormous impact in Senegal and Ghana - providing income that helps families send children to school, purchase much-needed medicine and build healthier lives, full of opportunity. Pretty incredible, right?
If you've been waiting to make your first gift, make it today. DOUBLE your impact with this match:
Your support is always appreciated,
