Clothes for Change Clothing 
Drive

Clothes for Change is a 
student-run nonprofit that 
supports women's 
empowerment.

We will be collecting new and gently used women's clothing, shoes, and accessories now through
November 18. Donations can be brought  to Myers Park's front office.

The Student Hunger Drive is in process
now through Nov. 9th at Myers Park High School. Please send in as many canned goods as possible. Students can drop cans off in first period or in the red bins in the main office! 

We are also accepting monetary donations in the front office. One dollar equals 7lbs . of food!! Help us reach our goal of 10,000 pounds for Myers Park High School!

When: Nov. 2, 6:30-8:30 pm
Where: Butler High School
What: Special Presentation by Mr. William Scannell  in conjunction with Red Ribbon Week. Mr. Scannell will speak on the dangers of opiate addiction and Substance Abuse Disorder at 7:00 pm in Butler Auditorium.

Yearbook Senior Ads

November 2nd  is the last day to submit senior ads forms and information for the 2016-2017yearbook!!

Pick up a form from S-7 during all 5 lunches!

If you know of a business that would be interested in purchasing a business advertisement for the 2016-2017 yearbook, forms are available in S-7 as well!
DECA Entrepreneurship/Business Workshop

Myers Park DECA is hosting a two day entrepreneurship/business plan workshop for all marketing students. We are in need of industry professional volunteers to serve as business plan advisors and judges to guide the students through the process of writing a business plan. Volunteers can sign up at this link.

MPHS Softball 
Holiday Poinsettia Orders

Please help support the Myers Park High Softball Program by ordering a Holiday Poinsettia.  Each Poinsettia comes in a 6 ½" pot and the plant size is on average 20".  You can order RED, WHITE or MARBLE and each Poinsettia is $12.00.  They are great gifts for the family and even better gifts for your children's teachers this Holiday Season.  If interested, please email Kory Formon  and we will process your order.  

Orders are due November 6 and the Poinsettias will be delivered early December.
Take Classes At UNC-Chapel Hill
Taught by Carolina Students

Visit UNC-Chapel Hill's campus to take a variety of interesting and fun classes taught by Carolina students. They are offering over 120 classes with topics that range from college admissions, to self-defense, to zombies, to DNA, and beyond.
 
The program will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 9:30am to 5pm. Create your own schedule to maximize your learning!
