Salute Crew
Recently, two local veterans from Mt. Wolf VFW Post 2493, John Brenner and Rich Shaffer, shared their afternoon working with five 6th grade learners from Sinking Springs. They discussed proper flag etiquette for raising and lowering the flag, as well as storing and folding the flag when it is not flying. These boys, also known as the Sinking Springs "Salute Crew", will be responsible for the daily management of the flag upon arrival at school and as each school day ends.

Harlem Wizards Return to CYSD Nov. 4
Central York School District's PTO Council is excited to announce that the Harlem Wizards will return to the district Saturday, November 4, 2017 to face off against the "Proud Panthers" in a basketball game at Central York High School. Proceeds will benefit the Central York School District PTO Council and all CYSD schools.
The Harlem Wizards are coming to Central! Join us Saturday, November 4, as Central faculty members and varsity basketball players take on the Harlem Wizards in the Central York High School gymnasium.
Doors open at 6PM, and tip-off is at 7PM. Tickets are on sale now. Cost is $10/ticket through October 12. After that, tickets are $12/each. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $15/each. Note - limited courtside seating tickets are avialable for $30/each. Tickets may be purchased at the following link:
