On November 22, 2016, Chuck Ludwig of Oakland County CASA was presented with the Arthur Eugene Moor Champion of Children Award. The award is named in  memory of the former Oakland County judge who was "instrumental in the development of many programs geared to the special needs of children and the prevention of delinquency," according to county officials. Judge Moore served on the Oakland County Probate Court bench from 1938-63 and on the Circuit Court from 1963-76. His son, Eugene Arthur Moore, is currently a judge with the Probate Court.

Chuck was honored with the award for all of the passionate and tireless work for over 50 years that he has done for children and families through CASA, and through all of his work at CARE House and Oakland County.

Congratulations Chuck!
