Green Janitor Education Program Webinar
Oct. 26
In partnership with the US Green Building Council-Los Angeles (USGBC-LA), the Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Los Angeles (BOMA-GLA), and Service Employees International Union (SEIU)-United Service Workers West, the Building Skills Partnership developed the Green Janitor Education Program in 2014.  Janitors are accredited and provided with hands -on energy management and green cleaning training to address Operations and Maintenance practices that enable buildings to meet green performance standards.  Energy Efficiency, recycling, waste management, water conservation, and other sustainable and green cleaning practices are addressed in the program.  Please click here for more information on the program. (here's the link: http://www.buildingskills.org/programs/greenjanitor/)

To learn more about the Green Janitor Education Program, you are invited to participate in a Webinar on Thursday, October 26th from 11am-12pm.  By attending the webinar, you will learn 1) how GJEP could benefit your worksite and have positive social, economic, and environmental impacts on your building; 2) what janitorial workers learn and how they are positively affected by the program; and 3) how to participate and become one of the many buildings that have already benefited from the Green Janitor Education Program.  Who should attend?  Building Owners, Property Managers, Janitorial Contractors, and the Green Building Community.  Click here for more information about the webinar. SCE Rewards Businesses
for HVAC Efficiency

This streamlined process pays incentives directly to property owners for HVAC Optimization. Whether you are a restaurant, small retail or large office building complex a properly operating heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in your facility reduces energy costs, improves air quality and comfort of workers and customers.

SCE pays incentives directly to property owners and managers, even if tenants manage the electric bill. No more time spen t coordinating efforts and paperwork with each and every tenant.  When you are ready to achieve greater HVAC efficiency for your building, you make the call and earn the incentives.

Look at some examples of how your business can save energy and money @ HVACOptimization.com.

Here is how to get started. The first step to greater HVAC performance is an assessment from a specially trained HVAC Optimization contractor. Find a contractor here or call 888.345.6067 to learn more.

FREE Audits
Don't forget...FREE Level 1 Audits are still available through the end of the year. The Level 1 audit is the first step toward energy optimization and consists of analyzing energy bills and conducting an on-site walk-through survey of the building. You will receive a report that identifies low-cost/no-cost measures for improving energy efficiency and provides a listing of potential capital improvements. The Level 1 audit is certified by ASHRAE - the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. Level 1 audits are available on a first come, first served basis. For more information and to request your FREE audit, please call (310) 371-7222 or email your request to [email protected].
