Life is Why. Join the School District in "Heart Walking" for Palm Beach County!
The District has been a longtime supporter of the American Heart Association. Students and staff joined Superintendent Avossa in promoting heart health during a Jump Rope for Heart event in 2016.
With the new year just around the corner, now is the perfect time to #MakeItCountPBC by making your personal health and fitness a priority! The District is proud to support the American Heart Association's Palm Beach County Heart Walk, which is scheduled for Saturday, November 18, at Meyer Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. Let's show the community just how engaged our personnel and students are in supporting causes that promote health and wellness!

Whether you're a beginning walker or an avid runner, your participation in the Heart Walk will allow you to have fun while being physically active with a great group of teammates. Imagine the impact we would have nationwide if we were able to reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by even just 20 percent. You can help us reach this lifesaving goal by joining our PBCSD team today! Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.

Your department, division, school or club can form their own team under the District's Heart Walk account by clicking  here. If you'd prefer to join an established team, Dr. Avossa would love to walk with you. Your support will allow the American Heart Association to continue its scientific research into the prevention of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Thank you in advance for your support of Team PBCSD
