Bonita (Hummel) Clarke, age 67 of St. Petersburg, FL., passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016.   Born in Wadsworth, OH., Bonita is survived by her husband, Mahlon "Mick" Hanson;   children, daughter, Amber Oakley;  son, Jon Oakley:  stepson, Dane Hanson;   stepdaughter, Shana Massie;  sister, Judith Lincoln;  and 8 grandchildren.

 

There was a graveside service on Thursday, March 31, at 2 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers please send any memorials for benefit of Bonnie's grandson's education, checks should be payable to Mahlon Hanson.

We just wanted you to know we continue to keep you close in thought and prayer - as we will miss Bonnie too, and always remember her with a smile. While it's true we only knew her just a few short years, the list of the fun times we shared together is long :-) She not only had us laughing a lot with her stories, but her zest for life was contagious! We'll never forget the time we let you know that we'd like to stop by your house "just for coffee" as we were going right by on our way back up to MN for the summer. You replied that Bonnie will serve a "light" brunch... Uh-huh!! We thought we were at a "5 star hotel" :-). Not only was everything a treat, but she had it all set up just beautifully! It was so like her wasn't it. She was such a warm, friendly "girl" a-n-d so much more ... no wonder you loved her so.  Our hearts go out to you dear Mick ... May God rest Bonnie's soul, and keep you in His tender loving care."
