Welcome to the November 2016 edition of Health & Harmony! In this issue, we emphasize the critical role of the caregiver in the cancer experience; highlight the important work of Tamara Orr, Ph.D., clinical psychologist at Massey; explore the potential use of ginger to treat chemotherapy-related nausea; and provide two delicious and nutritious recipes recommended by registered dietitian Elizabeth Miller.

Also, don't forget to check out and sign up for the many educational and supportive events we have lined up for November, including our Women & Wellness Impact Series workshop focusing on physical activity during ovarian cancer treatment.

And finally, we're happy to report that Massey now has a dedicated phone line for the Integrative Health program and and our monthly workshops. Just call (804) 828-8478 and listen to the prompts to register for classes or request more information about integrative health services. Enjoy this month's newsletter, and give us a call if you have any questions.

Massey does not endorse all integrative health practices. We only recommend those that are known to be safe and have the potential to improve health when used alongside, and never in place of, professional medical care. All cancer patients are advised to consult with their physician before starting any integrative health practice, as some may interfere with medical care.
