  Our Program for Tuesday, December 6

This next Tuesday our program will be the election of officers and directors for 2017-2018. After election they will be trained (especially the Prez at PETS) and hopefully others at the Rotary Leadership Institute (see article below).  You are welcome to nominate members for any of the positions open (except Past President!) if you have their consent.  Or...you can nominate yourself or just talk to Jordana LaPorte to get on the ballot.  Presently the following are on the ballot:

President - Lester Cooper
President Elect - Ty Witt
Vice President - Kelly Allen
Secretary - Tiffany Gering
Treasurer - Sandy Calicoat

Directors (two to be elected)
Kirk McGovern
Kate Tomlinson
Terry White
Don Lloyd

This Tuesday will also be President Kevin Abel's second Club Assembly.  He will be evaluating our first six months and projecting his goals into 2017.  All members should attend to select our leadership and map the future.

Tiffany needs your help!!!!

A ROTARIAN is a person who:

Digs wells from which they will never drink.

Vaccinates children they will never meet.
Restores sight for those they will never see.
Builds houses they will never live in.
Knows real happiness: which can only be found by serving others.
Educates children they will never know .
Plants trees they will never sit under.
Feeds hungry people, regardless of color, race or politics .
Makes crawlers walk half a world away.

Four Way Test

You know you are having a bad day!  This Monday Les Cooper did:

Backed Carol's car into the fence at Starbuck's;
Backed Carol's car into a concrete wall at Subaru;
Slammed his finger with the door of Carol's car in the Chamber lot;
After first aid from Tiffany in the Chamber office, he lost the keys to Carol's car.

I suppose this was all Carol's fault!!!
