KEY WORKSHOP MONDAY ON COMMUNITY CHOICE ENERGY
West County residents have a chance to get information and be heard
Community Choice Energy (CCE) and its potential in Contra Costa County is an important topic for every resident, and I would like to personally invite you to a public meeting this coming Monday, December 14 to learn more.

See the agenda here.

You'll learn how CCE works and how it may achieve local economic and environmental benefits for our County.

The County is exploring whether to establish its own CCE entity, join with Marin Clean Energy, or form a CCE entity with Alameda County.

CCE allows counties and cities to pool their electricity demand in order to purchase and/or develop power for their residents and businesses.   It gives us the opportunity to receive more of our electricity from renewable energy like wind and solar.

For more detailed information about CCE policy, click here.

Please join me at an educational workshop on CCE at the Hercules Public Library at 109 Civic Drive on Monday, December 14 from 7 p.m. To 9 p.m.

This will also be a chance to hear from the public about this opportunity and to answer questions from the community.

Attendance is free, but we ask that you RSVP here.

Hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
