: We have much to be thankful for in this season of gratitude. Here are our top few reasons:
- We now have 350 HIV+ children in our care. Most have seen their health improve (gained weight and strenghtened immune system), and are attending school regularly.
- No new HIV infections in the last five years.
- The community of Matero in Zambia has become increasingly self-reliant as family members are equipped with the training and tools to take care of their HIV+ children. We trained more than 150 family members over the last two years.
- A much reduced stigma associated with HIV: more than 200 family members underwent voluntary testing.
Please donate generously so we can continue to prevent new HIV infections, care for HIV+ children, and train family members in HIV care and prevention. Every dollar counts and helps strengthen the community. And, as always, 100% of your donations go towards programs and no part is used for overheads.
