The mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School is to nurture every child by providing the opportunities to grow in faith, achieve academic success, and serve others as disciples of Jesus.

Sunscreen Station at the Red Ribbon Run

We are participating in a Sun Protection Education Program this year. Throughout the year our students, parents and teachers will be getting information about protecting their skin from sun damage and learn about skin conditions caused by sun exposure. Our participation in this program will help Corpus Christi be eligible for a grant sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology. The money awarded through the grant will be allocated to purchasing and installing a walkway between the main building and the preschool building.

The Sunscreen Station will be set-up in the courtyard on Friday morning. Mrs. Susie Veasey, Executive Director with Beautycounter, has donated the sunscreen. Please stop by for more information about sun protection!

** Students must have a signed permission slip for the school to apply sunscreen.  Click HERE to download the permission slip.

Box of Joy Project

We will soon participate in the Cross Catholic Outreach Box of Joy program in conjunction with our parish and our Archdiocese.   For our third year, Corpus Christi is joining Catholics nationwide in this important work of mercy. By packing a Christmas gift box and sponsoring the cost of its shipment, we can deliver a Box of Joy to these children who would otherwise receive nothing. You will soon hear from your child's teacher, explaining how your student's class will participate.  In addition to the usual filling of boxes as a class, boxes will also be available for students who are interested in taking one home to fill as a family. They will need to be returned by November 6th, and there is a $9.00 postage fee per box that will need to be included as well. You may also receive a box from our parish.  You may access the following link to learn more about the Box of Joy program:

Bible Verse

Each month students learn a Bible verse, and  recite it together at school during our morning prayers.  We also pray a particular prayer each month. Our Bible verse focus for the month of October is Hebrews 13:8,

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

Our prayer focus is The Memorare.
