Talk. Read. Sing. Draw. Play... Partners Wanted!

Research has found that providing children from birth to five with consistent,  language-rich experiences - such as talking, reading, singing, drawing, and playing - can have important benefits on their brain development and future school success. First 5 San Joaquin has partnered with the University of the Pacific and various community organizations to e xtend  the TRSDP campaign to families throughout San Joaquin County.
We'd love to e x pand our partnering to even more organizations  interested

First 5 San Joaquin: Characteristics of Families Served

Last year, First 5 San Joaquin invested nearly  $8 million  in programs  and services  aimed at increasing the number of children who enter school healthy and ready to learn. O ver  19,000  children ,  parents, and providers were served. A recently released report, First 5 San Joaquin: Characteristics  of Families Served , highlights those programs  and families.
Music for the Holidays

First 5 California launched the online music service "Pando ra." This fun and free station features music to encourage learning and physical activity, and now offers music for the holidays!
