Falls are among the most common causes of serious work related injuries and deaths. Employers must set up the work place to prevent employees from falling off of overhead platforms, elevated work stations or into holes in the floor and walls. Join us for this half-day educational seminar.

All individuals who are associated with maintenance activities, safety and supervisors in general industy and construction.

At the end of this session you will be able to:

  • Detemine when fall protection is required and applicable OSHA Regulations
  • Identify categories of fall protection
  • Determine how to use and inspect fall protection equipment

Instucted by Eric White - BWC Safety Consultant Specialist  

Eric White is a Construction Safety Consultant for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Division of Safety & Hygiene. Mr. White has been with the Division for 18 years and in the safety field for 24 years. Prior to coming to work for the Division of Safety & Hygiene Mr. White held positions with the Mechanical Contractors’ Association, Honda of America, OHM Corporation and worked many years as a carpenter. He holds a BS in Environmental Hazardous Materials Management from the University of Findlay.
