As the Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI) and Florida Mine Safety Program move forward with improving and enhancing our services to the mining operations and wonderful folks that work in and around the mines, we are establishing an Advisory Board to assist FPSI in making our dreams for the program a reality.
The mission of the Advisory Board is to assist FPSI in identifying industry best practices, creating a statewide training plan, drafting rule language for the Surface Mine Rescue Contest, programming for fallen miners yearly and planning a statewide mining conference.
