Hospitality in the Abrahamic Tradition | Parish Hall
As we continue to live in a country and a world so divided, our faith calls us to reach beyond what divides us and show love to friend and stranger.  As we examine who our neighbor is and how we are called to serve one another, we explore the faith principle of hospitality.  Our scripture says, “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.” (Hebrews 13:2) Join our guest speakers from the Interfaith Speakers Network of Atlanta, Audrey Galex and Noor Abbady, as they speak about the Jewish and Muslim traditions and how these traditions engage us all in hospitality, drawing together what the world seeks to divide.

Audrey Galex is a freelance producer at Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters.  She's been involved in a number of interfaith initiatives and currently serves as the president of the Faith Alliance of Metro Atlanta,  she's also a board member of the Friends of the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies. She is the mother of three children and enjoys dancing, cycling and miniature golf.

Noor Abbady is the program manager with the Interfaith Speakers Network of Atlanta, an award winning public speaker, an ESL instructor, a graduate student, and a mother of two amazing boys, who believes educational outreach is the only way towards more understanding and less prejudice. Besides prayer, she finds her spiritual pursuit through running, playing the piano, and painting.
If you aren't able to worship with us on Peachtree Street this Sunday, joins us via the Internet.
