Therapeutic Recreation Annual Halloween Dance


Join us for a fun and spooky time Friday, Oct. 27, 6 - 8:30 p.m. at the Beck Recreation Center. There will be dancing, games, a talent show, costume contest and more!

"A Ghostly Intervention"
 
Witness the ghostly shenanigans of a family matriarch and her grouchy husband who attend a family reunion to help reconnect an estranged family in the intriguing theater production, "A Ghostly Intervention."
 
Presented by the Seniors '88 performance troop, shows are Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2 and 7 p.m. at Aurora South Middle School. Tickets are only $10 and are available now at the Aurora Center for Active Adults and at the door with check made out to the City of Aurora or exact change.
Trick-or-Treat Nature Trail

Stroll the Trick-or-Treat Nature Trail for booths, a scavenger hunt and lots of fun for all ages. The annual event takes place Sunday, Oct. 29, 1 - 4 p.m. at the Morrison Nature Center at Star K Ranch. Note: the trail and parking lot are less busy from 2:30 - 3:45 p.m. Registration is not required and all activities are free!

Volunteers Needed for 23rd Annual Veterans Salute Event

Aurora's annual Veterans Salute will honor military heroes who served in all branches of service on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Wings over the Rockies Air & Space Museum. This year, special tribute will be paid to veterans affiliated with Colorado's Guard and Reserve.
 
Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up and decorating with registration, food service and clean up on Tuesday, Oct. 31 and on Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Need a break from brown-bag lunches? Take your taste buds on a wild ride at the final Food Truck Rodeo of the season. Several different food trucks will be serving up tasty eats on Friday, Nov. 3, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Aurora Municipal Center.
