BEAGLE BUGLE - ROCKWELL PTA AND SCHOOL NEWS
OCTOBER IS WALK TO SCHOOL MONTH

Redmond SchoolPool is excited to partner with Norman Rockwell, encouraging students to walk, bike, carpool, or ride the school bus to get to school October 3-31.

How does it work?

1. Each student will receive a calendar to bring home today. Your student should keep the calendar until October 31.

2. Every week that your student walks, bikes, carpools (with another student) or rides the bus to school (at least 1 time), mark the calendar.

3. Wednesday October 4th, walk to school with your student(s). Be sure to stop by the flag pole to receive a special give a way and meet with Special Guests!

4. Parents should complete the back of the calendar with contact information so they can receive rewards for their students.

5. Please turn calendars in to the main office by November 2nd.

6. Each returned completed card earns the PTA $10, up to $2,500 for the school!

Thank you for contributing to the success of Redmond SchoolPool. Together we will reduce traffic congestion, raise money for your school, and promote healthy habits.

**SHORT SURVEY**

The SURVEY is found here and takes less than a minute to complete. Thank You!
PASS THE HAT FUNDRAISER
 Corporate Matching and Volunteer Hours

For those who have donated to our PTA's annual Pass the Hat fundraiser, we thank you!

We are currently at 73% of our goal for the year, so if you haven't donated yet, please remember to do so today! Pass The Hat is our main source of funds for all the programs we support at Rockwell Elementary.

And, as a reminder to all who donated to Pass The Hat, please register your donations for your organization's Corporate Matching program. Those matching funds are a crucial part of  our PTA budget, and it would be fantastic to get that "free money" from those  companies! Please remember that only Pass The Hat donations are eligible for  corporate matching-your yearbook, spirit wear and membership costs cannot be  matched.

Again, thank you for your financial support of the Rockwell PTA! We could not  provide all the academic enrichment, school services, and fun events without you.  And don't forget that your volunteer hours are also eligible for Corporate Matching. :-)

Last, for those who have not donated to the Pass the Hat Program, there is still time. Our academic enrichment and school services could use your added support.  You may DONATE HERE online or email us if you want to donate another way.

Thank you!
Rockwell PTA, VP of Fundraising
