The Chesapeake Group is hired  by the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber  of Commerce to lobby in Baton Rouge  on behalf of the business community  in our region.
The biggest news around Baton Rouge this week was LSU's Wednesday announcement of a new tiger mascot.  The tiger, named Harvey, arrived on campus and will be quarantined in the "night house" until he becomes acclimated to campus life.  If all goes well he will be formally introduced as Mike VII.
