2017-2018 Grant Year Goals

At the national Flex meeting in Maryland, Awards were given to top 10 Flex programs.   These awards had a variety of criteria that MT did not meet.

MT Flex is currently ranked 39th overall.
We can do better! The key is consistent reporting and improvement.  It would be great to see us move into a top 20 spot!

MBQIP measures affect patient care and satisfaction, the cornerstones of your organization.

Watch for more information, support, and encouragement as we kick off the next grant year.

DATA DEVELOPMENT

REMEASUREMENT REPORTS

Remeasurement data for a series of projects has been released and we are proud to show incredible improvement from our participants in all of them!

QIS: HCW Immunization
T he national benchmark rate is 90% and we have set that as a goal for MT CAHs.  Overall we moved the HCW immunization rate from 80% to 85%.   Eight  MT CAHs are at or above 95%!!   We challenge all MT CAHs to implement HCW immunization improvement efforts this coming flu season and move rates toward the 90% national benchmark.

M2O: HCAHPS 2 Outcomes
Ten MT CAHs completed this indepth project.   Improvement was shown across the board in relation to the HCAHPS care transitions questions. Three of the questions showed a satisfaction rate increase of 19-21%!

Trauma Reimbursement - Central RTAC

QIS: ED Transfer Communication
Coming Soon - but the improvement is PHENOMENAL!!

FAQ
Q: Do I report IMM-2 during non-flu season quarters (Q2 & Q3)?

A:
The Federal Office or Rural Health is recommending CAHs submit the global population for Imm-2 during non-flu season quarters.  However, if CAHs do not submit during these quarters, they will still be eligible for Flex Grant participation at this time.

Q: Do I need to report IP/OP Stroke and Pneumonia still?

A: You may be reporting these measures as a part of other programs or as  an initiative of your facility, but they are not required by this program.  If you do not have other requirements for these measures, you can stop reporting on them.
