On September 19, the AME welcomed new members, saluted many of the School of Medicine's outstanding teachers, honored two cherished staff members, and recognized two Academy members for "above and beyond" service for the past year. The meeting also highlighted the growing roles and opportunities for the AME in the Bridges Curriculum and School of Medicine initiatives. Read more...

For the very first time, this year's Teaching Awards Ceremony combined several separate events into one reception. Held in Byers Auditorium at the Mission Bay campus, the UCSF family gathered for a special evening to celebrate our award-winning teachers. More than 170 guests attended including Talmadge King, Jr., MD, dean of the School of Medicine, Catherine Lucey, MD, vice dean for education, department chairs, course directors, medical education leadership, faculty, students, and staff.
