NEW Proposed paths released on MAGLEV

Dear Friends,

The Baltimore Washington Superconducting Maglev Project has released their new analysis which has reduced the number of alternative pathways being considered for study.  It is still important to attend these meetings and voice your opinion as all of these paths still affect many of our neighborhoods. One of the remaining proposed paths travels right through Bowie and two of the alternates follow the Baltimore-Washington Parkway impacting Laurel.

To see the map for the three paths, which are being proposed, click here.  The link for the project's website is www.bwmaglev.info and it is where you can read about the project in depth.

All Open Houses are listed below.  Again, I strongly encourage you to attend, register your opinion, make your thoughts and comments known.  Public input is vital at this stage of the process.

As always, please email me at [email protected] or call 301-858-3101 if you have concerns or thoughts to share with me.

Sincerely,
Geraldine Valentino-Smith
