| Merry Christmas to you all. The old wicker fishing basket in the photo is just under a 100 yrs old handed down to me from my great grandfather and grandfather(history in the making). So it just had to be used in this shot for memories and also to make my mum and dad smile and maybe some of you.The dreams,goals and passion has never stopped. |
The fishing has been great all the trout have been fat and healthy. Even on the Mataura river the other day my client for just one day who had never fished in NZ, manged to fool 17 big browns and landed 9 of them.
All of my clients managing to fool plenty big brown trout, despite some not so good weather. Years of local knowledge and adaption. Has made everyday fun and interesting for all, long may it continue.

In my youth when not fishing. I spent time with my airgun helping the forestry cull grey squirrels. I would sell their tails to a small fishing shop(40 pence) for fly tying to the samll time owner Paul..Eventually he turned his small shop into the UK biggest retail and online shop. The owner Paul never forgot the anglers that have helped make his business the biggest. He sent out this personal email. Even if your not in the UK,it all helps the world of fishing.
