OCTOBER 2017

Greetings,

October brings an added dose of fun to the studio! Our first observation week celebrates Halloween, and students are invited to dress in their Halloween costume during classes Tuesday, October 24 through Monday, October 30. Appropriate dance shoes should still be worn. (Regular dancewear may be worn by those who choose not to don a costume.)

During the observation periods, parents of enrolled students ages 18 mos. and up will be welcomed into the classroom, where they can watch, photograph and record their child's classes. We look forward to seeing you at this always-fun event! If you're unable to attend, mark your calendars for our next observation week December 13-19. With Christmas and Winter Break just around the corner, it should be just as exciting!

GSTC instructors are hard at work choosing music and costumes for the year-end annual student production. Next month, selected class costumes will be posted, measurements will be taken, and payments will be collected. Read more about the student production and Costume Carnival below.

Finally, and we're sure you've not forgotten, Fall Break is next week. The break runs from Saturday, October 14-Friday, October 20. Classes resume Saturday, October 21. We also have no classes scheduled for Tuesday, October 31 - due to Halloween.

And with Thanksgiving fast approaching, it's the perfect time to give special thanks for and to the wonderful parents at GSTC. On behalf of our staff, I want to offer a sincere thank you for all you do! We truly love sharing our time and talents with your kids.

Enjoy your time off!

Best regards,

During Carnival week, parents should pick up a costume order form available on the table in the front hall, complete it and leave it in the box provided. Payment options to be selected on the form include the following choices: Have us auto-charge your account or simply attach a check to your order form. All payments are due by Thursday, November 16, to avoid a late fee.

Costumes are $60 for students in the Pre-K division (Tiny Tot & Discover Dance) and $70 for students in the Elementary, Intermediate, Teen and Advanced divisions (Grades K-12).

A $40 Production Fee per family is also due and goes toward general production costs and facility rental. We do not sell tickets to the production; admission is free.

Costumes will be ordered immediately upon payment to ensure their timely arrival next Spring. Costume forms not submitted and paid for by November 16th will incur a $15 per costume add-on fee. Payment can be made at the desk by cash/check, or online by MasterCard or Visa.
