Begin to Knit Socks w/Maureen--Nov 7, 14, 21 6-7:30pm 

A sock in progress is the perfect travel companion. It is small, portable and the finished project is completely practical. There are many techniques used in making a sock making it the perfect next project once you have graduated from knitting hats and scarves.

Have you been yearning to scrunch your toes in some wool? Have you caught yourself glaring in disgust at your sock drawer? Want to make your loved ones some matching socks? If you answered yes to any of these questions you need to knit some socks. 

In this three session crash course, Maureen will walk you through basic sock anatomy and how it all comes together to form a toasty case for your toes. Working with worsted weight yarn and size five double pointed needles, your first pair of socks will fly off the needles.Once you know how to turn that heel and seal that toe, you'll be off and running.

Supplies: 300 yds worsted weight yarn, size 6 DPNs
