PICTURE DAY!
All school picture day is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6. Picture orders are optional, however all students will be photographed. Please have your student dressed in their school uniform for pictures.

NEW BOARD MEMBER WELCOME
We would like to welcome new SCCS Board Member Ben Dinsmore. Ben is the Plant Manager at Humanetics Innovative Solutions and he and his wife, Andrea have six children. Isabella, Jackson, Sophia, Elijah, and Evelyn are all students at SCCS, and Abigail is a future Panther.
 
BABY BLUE GAME: SATURDAY SEPT. 9 VS ASHLAND
The Saturday, September 9 Varsity Football game against Ashland Crestview will be a "Baby Blue Game" in remembrance of 2016 SMCC graduate Abby Bastien.  Special baby blue shirts are on sale for the game with all proceeds to benefit the Abigail Bastien Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Click here to order yours now!
 
PANTHER SPORTS YARD SIGNS
Show your support for your favorite Panther Athlete, Cheerleader, or Marching Band Member with a Panther yard sign. Signs are $20 and may be customized for students in elementary through high school. Please click here for an order form, and return to the main office. Go Panthers!

HOME FOOTBALL GAME VOUNTEERS NEEDED
Come out and support our Panthers by volunteering to be a ticket seller or ticket taker at SMCC Varsity Football games. If interested, please contact Coach Ryan Wikel at [email protected] . Home games this season are Saturday September 9, Saturday September 16, Friday October 6, and Saturday October 28.

LUNCH ROOM NEWS & NOTES

HOT LUNCH AND SALAD BAR PRICE LIST
Preschool: $2.25
K-5th: $2.75
6th -8th: $3.00
9th -12th: $3.25
Extra Milk: .50¢
 
Hot Lunch and Salad Bar includes one carton of milk. Extra milk may be purchased for 50 cents. PreSchool-3rd grade may select a PBJ Uncrustable to replace the main entrée.
4th -12th grade students may select Salad Bar or the Meal on Menu for the lunch price. Soup is also offered daily for an additional charge.
 
A la Carte is offered daily to 7th -12th grade students. 6th graders may purchase A la Carte on Wednesday only. Students in grades 4-12 may purchase the daily soup. All A la Carte items are individually priced.
 
The Federal government and the SCCS Wellness Policy does not allow outside "Fast Food" to be brought in for lunch. Students are welcome to pack a homemade lunch.
 
A student must select at least 3 of the 5 meal components offered on the menu for it to count as a lunch. A fruit, vegetable, or both must be components selected to qualify as a lunch.

FREE & REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAM
Sandusky Central Catholic School is now enrolling students for the 2017-2018 Free and Reduced Lunch program. The application for the program may be picked up at the main entrance from Mrs. Parish or click here to download the form. Free and Reduced lunches include the Meal on the Menu for Preschool-12 grade students or Salad Bar for 4-12 grade students. A la Carte lunch items are not included in the Free and Reduced lunch program. Student/parent is responsible for payment of these food items.
 
COMPUTERIZED LUNCH PAYMENT
SCCS uses a computerized lunch cash register system that is connected to each student's photo identification card. Online credit card payments for lunch are accepted at K12PaymentCenter.com. Cash is also accepted at the lunch checkout line and change is not given. All money received at cash register is applied to lunch account. There is a limit of $20 that may be charged on a student's lunch account. Any student with an unpaid balance of $20 or more will not be served the daily hot lunch or a la carte menu. However, they will be given a PBJ Uncrustable and milk until lunch balance is made current.

Items are available in youth through adult sizes.  Please note that light blue polo shirts are permitted for students in grades K-5 only.  All orders will be delivered to school and sent home with students.

  
ALL SEASON SPORT PASSES
SMCC All Season Sports Passes are now available for $100 and may be purchased through Mrs. Parish at the Main Entrance.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED

ABIGAIL BASTIEN SCHOLARSHIP BRACELETS
Bracelets are available at the main entrance. All donations will go directly to the Abigail Bastien Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded annually in her honor to a graduating senior who excels both academically and in track and field.

FACTS PAYMENT REGISTRATION
If you chose FACTS tuition payments on your tuition contract, please sign on or register a new account on to the FACTS web site: factsmgt.com. After the agreement is finalized, FACTS will send an email to confirm and notify you of the date the $41.00 enrollment fee will be deducted from the bank account or credit card provided.

Students may request schedule changes until August 31 at 3:00pm. Schedule change forms may be found in the Main Office. Forms may be turned in to the Main Office or Guidance Office.
