Enbridge Launches Affordable Housing New Construction Program


Enbridge Gas Distribution has launched the Affordable Housing New Construction (AHNC) Program to encourage builders to adopt energy efficiency features when constructing new affordable housing in the Enbridge Gas service area. 

The goal is to reduce the operating and energy costs associated with building or homeownership, ensuring affordability, sustainability and longevity of the affordable housing stock.

CHBA Seeking Participants in Home Buyer Study

For the third year in a row Canadian Home Builders' Association, in partnership with Avid Ratings, is conducting a nationwide buyer preference study and seeking participants.
 
The Canadian Home Buyer Preference National Study reveals new data in more than 50 in-depth areas of home design, building features, buying preferences and demographics, says Tim Bailey, division president of Avid Ratings Canada.
 
The report contains comparisons in seven customer segments, including singles & couples without children, growing families with children, second/vacation home buyers, and more.
