Students Run LA at City Hall
Earlier this month,
Paul Trapani,
one of the founders of Students Run LA, made a presentation before LA's City Council about the positive impact that the legacy of the 1984 Olympic Games has had on youth in Greater Los Angeles. Support from the LA84 Foundation has helped keep SRLA running for more than 20 years!

Volunteer Spotlight!
The heartbeat of Students Run LA is its outstanding cadre of volunteers, from the marathon leaders to its dedicated corps of support volunteers. SRLA depends upon these volunteers to organize, manage, and generally take charge of any one of a myriad of stations to insure the success of any SRLA event.
Chante Calzada is one among a very few premier volunteers who can be counted upon to be there and cover any slot that needs filling. Certainly those of you who finished the last marathon and followed the "breadcrumb trail" across Tongva Park heading back to the high school, certainly experienced her cheerful assistance, snacks and directions.
