Real Questions From Real People
When is Rosati's Opening? They have been issued their Liquor License from the Village of Mundelein and are currently hiring. They anticipate a November 14 opening date if all goes well.  Those interested in working at Rosati's can stop by tomorrow October 29 from 10-3 or on November 2 from 11 am til 8 pm.  You may also send a resume to [email protected]
Do You Want to Vote Early?
Early Voting started October 24 and goes through November 5. The most convenient place for Fremont Township residents to vote early is at the Fremont Library. There is no early voting at Fremont Township. The hours are 9:00 am til 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday and 9:00 am til 2:00 pm on Saturdays.   If those hours don't work for you click here for all dates and options to vote.

What is Going on at the Regent Center in November?
For those 50 and over, there is so much to do at the Regent Center.  In November they have Retirement Planning, Free Hearing Screening, A Trip to While Fence Farm and How to Make Cheese.  As always you can play cards or come out for line dancing and much more!  Click here to see all they offer.

Play Duplicate Bridge at Fremont Township on Monday mornings. Contact Joe Connelly at 847 271-1666. This is ACBL sanctioned so you can earn points.
If you have concerns about falling, there are still a few openings for our  'A Matter of Balance Class" which meets on Wednesdays from 9 am til 11 am at the Fremont Township Community Room.  If you are 60 or older and interested, call Kari Pohar at 847 740-6708 to register.
Cub Scout Pack 295 will be hosting their Spaghetti Dinner and Chili Cookoff on  Saturday, Nov. 5th, from 6-8pm at  Santa Maria Parish Center (corner of Division and Lincoln, Mundelein)   To enter the Chili Cook off Click here
Mundelein’s second Jewel-Osco store, located at 1150 West Maple Avenue, has planned a Grand Opening celebration on Tuesday, November 8 at 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend! This new 65,816 square foot state-of-the-art store replaces the vacant Dominick’s grocery store space.
The Hawley Road Ribbon Cutting is November 10 at 1 pm which will be followed by the ribbon cutting of the Hawley Lake Plaza at 1:45 pm

Casino Night Fundraiser to Benefit Veterans l be held on November 12, 2016 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Double Tree Hotel in Mundelein. All event proceeds go directly to Veterans’ assistance. The Veterans’ Foundation offers assistance and relief to Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, Active Duty Military, and their immediate families. Click here for more information
The Kirk Players will be performing  It’s a Wonderful Life , on Friday November 18 at 7pm at Mundelein High School Theatre.  Additional performances are Saturday, November 19 at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sunday, November 20 at 2pm.  This version invites the audience to imagine the story as it is broadcast live from a 1940’s radio station.  Authentic local merchant commercials will run throughout the performance with the musical talents of The Mundelaires !  Senior Citizens Invited to Mundelein High School

If you are a senior citizen who resides in the Mundelein High School District, you are  invited to participate in the Super Seniors Activities program.

Super Seniors attend dinner events, school plays, music concerts, and art shows. Several times throughout the school year you will have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary dinner served by MHS students and to attend an MHS activity

Reservations are made by calling 847-949-2200 ext. 1266 and leaving the name, address and phone number of each senior citizen who is attending. You may only sign up for one event at a time and you must reserve no later than one week prior to the event. We start taking reservations approximately four weeks before each event.

Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the facilities , including: STEM lab, Project Lead The Way, Business Incubator, breakout spaces, science labs and other areas of interest.

Coat  and Diaper Drive for Fremont Township



We have started our yearly coat drive.  If you have new or  used coats that you would like to donate to local residents in need, we would appreciate you thinking of Fremont Township.   
We accept diaper donations for children and adults. If you have diapers you are no longer in need of, please consider donating them to Fremont Township. We do accept open bags.

If you are aware of Fremont Township residents  in need of diapers,( children or adult)  please have them contact our office at 847 223-2847 .

Fremont Township belongs to a diaper bank and we would love your help in supporting it.  If you order from Amazon,please consider shopping through their  AmazonSmile .   If you do, 0.5% of your Amazon purchase price go directly to the Diaper Bank Partnership of Lake County.
