Do you ever just stare at the calendar - whether it is on your phone, on your desk, in your checkbook or on the fridge or pantry door in your kitchen?
Do you ever dream that you have a magic wand to move the date backward or forward - one day, two weeks, three months, four years, five decades?
Advent is about living in the moment.
Be present in this moment.
Today.
Now.
Breathe of the now.
Try not to rush ahead or focus on the past.
What are the gifts of this moment? How is the Holy coming to you right now - no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey?

Prayer: Holy One, help me to stop looking back or looking ahead for a moment off and on throughout this day and this season. Breathe with me of now. Amen.
